finally after waiting for months and months rockstar announce gta 5 for pc

I'll wait and see for this one. I'll most likely pick it up once it's on a sale/discount. The hype train has left the station loooong ago. Otherwise I hope they optimize it better than GTA 4.

Yeah first they say the PC version will be relased at the same time as the new Xbox One and PS4 in November. now it says that the PC version will release in January.

Why is the industry is so fixated on consoles is beyond me. to me in terms of gaming the PC will always be king. No buying a whole new machine to stay with the times, you just replace a few parts when needed.

It's because most developers don't want their games modified and fiddled with and when it comes to multiplayer, hacked in.

While i totally agree with the anti hacking into multiplayer, punishing PC users because Developers are frustrated by modders is crap. Just keep the mods off-line and there should be no problems. If its more of the "noone may alter my masterpiece" mindset that's the problem, then that is just childish and pathetic and reflects poorly on the Developers themselves.

I wish I had the same level of control over what they can and cannot do with the money I give them for their games as they want over how I choose to play their games when I buy them.
