    Hello Everybody,

first, sorry for my bad English, I´m from Germany.

I used CH-Trainers now for a Long time and mostly they work fine.

But now, the most Trainers causing a "Appcrash". I can open the Main Menu and Press F1 and I hear "Trainer activated" (Alan Wake, Call of Duty Ghots, Deux Ex Human Revolution or Max Payne 3 as example).
But when i´m playing, the games Crash. Some at the beginning, some in the middle of the game. When i Play the games without the Trainers, everything is fine.
Interestingly, the games finally crash also from when I only start the trainers, without activating it!

I have read the "TroubleShooting Guide" and try the most things:

    Trainers run as Admin
    Games run as Admin
    Trainer in the Game-Folder
    Turn of Firewall
    Turn of Anti-Virus (Panda)

The Crashs happens with Steam and other Games. I use Windows 7, 64 Bit.

    Somebody can help me? Thanks.

    Greets,
    Martin

Please check trainer versions and game versions. These version numbers must match up (latest trainers are not a catch all for previous game versions).
    Your bitterness, I will dispel

Completely uninstall all AV, firewall and other security software. Simply disabling may not work. This includes things like Punkbuster and VPN type software such as Spotflux. Make sure game and trainer versions match. Once you figure out what is interfering with the trainers, reinstall security software.

Thanks for the note. I especially concentrated on a game. For this I have chosen Max Payne. The game has the version number 1.0.0.114 and the trainer also.
So this was not the reason.

I have now uninstalled the anti-virus software and Punkbuster and cleaned up after a restart with CCleaner everything.

The Windows Firewall I have completely deactivated.
Despite all, Max Payne has hung up again at the same point.

I know of no other security software that I had on the computer.

Strangely, even more entries PunkBuster in the firewall had been after uninstalling Punkbuster. This I deleted by hand.

I then checked my installed software and also the startup, but found nothing.

    I'm really at a loss.

Run the game + trainer in safe mode, if it doesn't crash then another program is causing the interference. You'll have to use process of elimination to figure out which program, but its a start. Also make sure that you have Internet Explorer 9 or less. (You MUST have some version of IE on your PC...the trainers use it in some way...Windows does too so I'm not certain you can 'completely' uninstall it. If you've upgraded to 10 or higher and then tried uninstalling, you may have to re-install and then roll it back). IE 10 and up causes problems. I've also run into a similar issue but it wasn't the trainer or the game, I needed to update my hardware drivers (GPU, sound card, etc.) and, in the case of my NVIDIA card, roll back the driver to the last stable version (they updated the drivers, they just suck...causes my GPU to blue-screen the computer).

MP3 has multiple trainers, one for Steam and one for retail/no-cd. Make sure you are using the correct one. You can try them both. You can also try using the no-cd fix with the retail trainer.

Sorry for my late reply, but I had a bad cold.

The hardware drivers should not be the reason, because I had the problem for some time and I always thought that the fault lies with Steam.

I have now re-installed the IE 9 and two tested games it works (Alan Wake and Deus Ex).

I watch the thing and I hope that this was the error. Thank you.
