I have yet to purchase a console, and I think I'm missing things. So I'm looking for detailed sugge

It's funny how you mention that the consoles are catching up to PC gaming; word on the street is that console gaming is dying. Of course, I do agree with you; I think that the quality of console gaming has been fantastic over the years, and I myself own a Wii U (and my sister owns an XB1).

The thing about console systems is you get to upgrade once about every 5 or so years so that you graphics aren't so out of date it's pathetic. Where as a gaming PC has more power and better graphics right off the bat and can be upgraded with the latest and greatest at any time. Besides; other than the occasional exclusive title we get almost all the titles the consoles get. Usually at the same time they do. Sometimes we might have to wait a bit, but the PC version is always better. My 360's sole use is to stream/download tv shows and movies.

PlayStation has the best exclusives so if you were to get a console do get a PS3. And if you have money get a PS4 cause there are a lot of great games coming.
