Boss not spawning? on Dark Souls II PC Message Board - Page 1

i use the trainer offline for items and souls and from time to time one hit kills NEVER on bosses however I am on the windmill level with mytha and i have burned down the windmill and she is not spawning it shows her health bar at full but she is not anywhere in the room. my brother plays this game too and the last boss did not spawn for him same thing with the health bar of boss and all. looked all over the internet for a solution to my problem and cant find a thing can any one help?

You can burn down the windmill? I finished the game and never did that?

yes it gets rid of 80% of poison on boss floor.

The option to insta kill enimies can perma break mytha due to the poison in her room if she dies before she spawns broken with a health bar but shes missing. This seems to happen even if you use insta kill near her room before the fight. Ive tryed to burn windmill to remove the poison and restarting game it seems like it permantly breaks that fight on that character. Your option is to either start a new character or if your in NG+ you can skip the 4 bosses mainly the one in iron keep if you get enough souls. The safest bet for not breaking is to leave the insta kill option off until after you see mytha spawned and then use it.

wow thanks for the info! does this happen for any other bosses that you know of?

I havent run into any others where this happens I suspect its just becuase of the poison in her room that Mytha is affected at all. On that note though the only other boss that may have a problem is the Gaurdian Dragon at the end of Aldia's keep due to its long scripted spawn but i haven't tested it. Its far enough into the game that im to lazy to risk it lol.

Just wanted to say this actually happened to me. There's no way to fix it, and since I didn't beat Mytha once, I can't use a Bonfire Ascetic to reset her. So I'm stuck restarting the game. And with VAC now enabled, looks like I will probably just stop playing. Glad to know definitively it was my fault for ****ing around with insta-kill. Damn I wish I had known about this before.

If you want to "speed run" with insta kill on to where you were as long as you turn the option off on the second bonfire in earthan peak the one by the middle of the windmill she wont break and i havent had an issue with vac yet but i also play offline when i cheat.
