So,Marvel is killing Wolverine. I know they "killed" him before (twice) I'm pretty sure he won't stay dead. Marvel (and,DC) are notorious for "Killing" Super Heroes (DC killed superman at least 3 times.probably more. And,killed every single robin, except for the female one,i think.)
Anyways, this is supposed to be the end all of ends for Wolverine. A 4 part mini-series is coming out in September. If any of you are into comics and/or Wolverine, how do you feel about this?
Or do you even care?
Wolverine has had a long run. his character (AKA Logan) wants to die. He wants closure and peace. Most of all Mortality. I for one, think this is a good thing. I was upset at first. It seems that everyone was jumping on the "Let's KILL everyone" Bandwagon. (NightWing, the assassination of Capt.America/Steve Rogers.)
And,now Wolverine. But,i thought about it and decided that this is what he needs. and,I as a fan need.
The Wolverine movie touched on his desire to actually have the option of an end. That much at least has followed the original storyline in one of the earlier "Death of Wolverine" comic book releases.
As much of a Wolverine fan as I have been since I was a kid I don't like the idea but I can accept it as due course since it is more realistic to accept that no one really truly wants to live forever. Myself included.. Maybe 200 or 300 years would be ok just to see where the world goes but 500 or more.. The stories are out there for those who know where to look..
Anyone know Noah or Moses?? And neither of them had claws!
