Where are the saves? on Dark Souls II PC Message Board - Page 1

I can't find the savegame location. It's not in the steam folder and I can't find it in my document folder. I came across a gamebreaking bug I barely got out and want to backup my save.

Doing coop with someone who used 1 hit at a boss. Boss gone, player quits, script is screwed, fogwalls are up and I can't leave or go back to the bonfire. Hard reset spawned me in front of the door unable to go in. Luckily, it wasn't a 'story' related boss but an optional one.
