I read some steam discussion. Aperantly there is a server problem. Some VAC banned players can play DS2. Also VAC ban is per game specific ban

[Edited by bsaksida, 4/25/2014 8:02:16 AM]

you mean some legit player also accidently get banned by this problem?

acording to him he is VAC banned on game MW2. On prifile it clearly states that he has 1 VAC ban.

Aperantly even legit players have trouble. This game does not have VAC support. On a store page there isn't anyithing about having VAC.

for games that uses VAC This line "Valve Anti-Cheat enabled" Is on a store page

if i go offline then use the trainer to cheat

    Then shutdown the trainer
and set my steam online then play DS2

will i get banned? (because my character status is very high and i have 999999 soul)

[Edited by esteysa, 4/25/2014 7:01:41 AM]

It is possible that having 999999 soul could trigger a response as no-one can achieve thet without cheating.

I am not sure so don't just take my word, look around the internet if it is possible for that to trigger a ban I am sure it has already happened to somebody else.

Can't you like, launch DS2, minimize the game window, disable internet connection, restore the window again and continue to load/play the game? Juz like DS1?

I didn't disable internet, blocked in firewall or put steam into offline mode. I ocasionaly enabled Inf. Health and added souls. I didn't get MP part of game, because i haven't progress the story. But i haven't got any ban. Not VAC or non VAC ban.

This game is freaking hard. Been playing for 4 hours. Keep dying on the same spot. (I have enabled inf. Health on a few spot)

I am kinda conflicted. On one hand I feel that if they invade me then it's my house my rules don't like it leave. But on the other hand it is a multiplayer game. In the end I'll probably treat it like Borderlands.

I really do wish they allow us the choice if we wanted to be invaded or not.
