Every time I start trainer first, then game, like I am supposed to, and reach main menu, I hit F1 and it says "Trainer, cannot find game." Not just this version either, all the trainers before this version does the same thing. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong? My game has all expansions, and is up to date. Also tried starting the game and trainer both as administrator, and get the same results. Please help. Thank you.
Do you have any antivirus software running in the background? If so, please try either disabling it or creating an exception/exclusion filter for the trainer's directory.
For the record, I have v1.549 - build: 15814, with Golden Realms DLC (but not the newly-released Eternal Lords DLC), and almost all options work fine.
The only one that doesn't quite work is the "Reset Combat"; pressing this while a unit is selected within Manual Combat mode gives that unit unlimited movement points, but it doesn't reactivate the unit after an action is performed. This is just a minor nitpick though.

Verify the version of your AoW copy.
Where did you bought the game? Mainly Steam is supported.
