Whenever I try to access an url of cheathappens, no matter where or when it came from, it will end up an 404 error, can't login nor do anything either.

As soon as I use IE (which is more or less my last resort here) the site works normally however.

Any reason for this? I mean I can access the site still and as such isn't a priority but its kind of annoying to have to switch the browsers around everytime.

You have some firefox extension or addon causing a problem.

I'll have to check then, I've only got the two active the rest diabled right now.

Thanks for the heads up anyway.

edit: seems it can be caused by older version of FF aswel, testing that now, I seemed to be a might outdated and I had no addons/plugins active anymore.

I'm running FF 28.0 now aswel no addons still, it still 404's me every time.

edit: anyone know of any programs that might influence it the same way some addons may?

in case of dns you can also flush the dns cache

go to start > search bar > type in CMD

then in the new window type ipconfig /flushdns

also check if using proxy , if so tell it to do no proxy

goto firefox > tools > options > advanced > network > settings > put a checkmark by no proxy

Nothing that worked mate, I tried that stuff in both the old and the updated firefox, the dns has been flushed to its nice porcelain shine twice now and nothing.

I've got an IT Diploma myself, trust me I can find some troubles if not most of em myself, i'm just asking if their are any known programs that may cause issues, cause I'm not running that many.
