you can get banned yes, but as far as I know there is no anti-cheat except the infamous report button.

crimenet online is as the name says: ONLINE , while crimenet offline is: oh wonder : OFFLINE
so guess where you are now "safe" to use cheats and were not.

At present OK is only capable of banning an individual from the forums or from the group. Bans from the online would involve far too much legal red tape than OK is willing to deal with for a purely co-op game and would also require Valve itself stepping in, especially if OK wanted too lock script kiddies (face it, we are not hackers)out the game entirely.
If you like throwing snark back n forth on the Payday 2 forums, I suggest simply being subtle about your Online cheating, a char with all skills shouldnt flash those x2 ammo, med, ecm, turret, and x6 mines in a single heist without some pretending to fiddle with skill tree in lobby.
I have found that carefully controlled fire with the brenner and F8s perfect shot can create the illusion of normal spread while guaranteeing those headshots to drop a squad of baddies with only a few wasted rounds. With extra ammo pick ups from skill (or carefully timing when you give yourself ammo since it goes back too normal from the highly inflated as soon as you touch a box) you can avoid having too high a hit percentage and drawing suspicion.

Short question. Do you use more skill points than possible?

You would not get ban unless you use the cheat like an idiot that other player are able to see such as...
Numpad 8: Unlimited Health Numpad 9: Unlimited Armor Numpad 0: Instant Mask Numpad /: Unlimited Ammo Numpad *: No Reload F1 Key: Unlimited Equipment F2 Key: Unlimited Special Items F3 Key: Instant Deployment F4 Key: Fast Drill F5 Key: No Jamming F6 Key: Police Can't Shoot F7 Key: No Alarm / No Police
Those cheats above, you can get caught using if someone notice something unusual, Health and Ammo are kinda Risky to use but doable, just don't go outside standstill while 10000 cops are shooting at you.
The rest of the cheat that tweak your skill and perk are fine, It should not able to detect them...
Max all perk in your skill should already make you "God" like in the gameplay and shouldn't require risky cheats
But don't use all the special perk all at once such as Wearing Heaviest Armor, Able to convert enemy, able to pick locks, use C4, have the SAW all same time in the same game or same player, they will notice it, because is impossible to get all this perk skill playing legitly
Just use Common Sense on how to use the cheat when playing with other people,
You still shouldn't cheat online since this is a trainer and should not be use online.
So... Yes you can get ban if someone report you on the forum doing stupid stuff, there is no anti-cheat software in Payday 2 other then manual reporting
And No, adding skillpoint or mask/color/pattern will not get you ban because those stored locally and other people cannot see your your stats other then what is show to them
