There has been ongoing post on reddit that VAC checks for each person secondary connection for any connection link to any hack/cheats server.

and Gabe personally clarifiy that this system check does not check on what you personally browser history and for mainly anti-cheating purposes

but will this affect the trainer side of it?

I know CH does not condone cheating on Multiplayer, but someone may have accidentally kept the trainer on for example and enter a VAC enabled server by accident or any kind of silly scenario that ban you falsely.

Or this is something we shouldn't be worrying about and use our common senese?

There's no way we would know if the URL to cheat happens is in their list of unauthorized cheats. Most likely that list is kept secret to prevent/discourage people from working around it.

The most standard thing that everyone should do if they play multiplayer modes is to quit and re-launch the game if you're switching from single player and have been using the trainer to clear out the current modified game exe and reload a fresh official one (quitting the trainer is not sufficient enough to clear it out).

It's a good suggestion and you should still do it, but most viable solution in my eyes is to block vac's access to your browser. I had no idea that valve was doing this but I will most certainly prevent it.

How would we block them? If you don't mind me asking.

Well I'd have to get hold on the new change in code valve made before I can even hint at what I intend to do. But I will get it blocked, I don't like people invading my privacy.
