Just wondering why some games are put on the permanent retirement list. Was hoping to use the trainer for Fate of the World but it hasn't been updated since 2011 and it has been permanently killed as a request for updating. Just wondering the reasoning in general.

AFAIK, it's about age, demand and number of staff. The team is incredibly busy just keeping up with current games and the move of many publishers to alpha releasing games and then doing a hundred patches, each of which requires changes to the trainers, isn't compatible with earlier versions of the trainer and has every member and their pets demanding an immediate update. Rather than keep the occasional member hoping that there will be a new patch for the hit games of 1990, they've decided to permanently retire games once they reach a lower threshold of age/demand.
