You edit your stats in the editor. Then go ingame and quicksave and quickload and see if the changes apply correctly. I think someone has mentioned it before.
On my system (Windows 7 64bit, Asus P67 platform, 2600K, and the RAM tests fine), with UAC enabled, with AV enabled, and everything still works perfectly as long as the trainer is in admin mode and I give it clearance to run with those elevated privs. Rocking trainer/editor, way to go 0x90!
Even the options with asterisks by them don't ACTUALLY 100% require the user to get legit points for the cheat to function, at least in my case. That's just one way those memory locations get updated. Another is if you save and load the game after editing - you'll save with apparently no points, and load with some points to distribute. I noticed that it does groups of 4 Talent points at a time, so you can give yourself 8 or 12 and it'll just give you another batch of 4 to spend afterward until you're really out.
