I purchased the COD MW3 trainer cheat but it will not work because Steam updated the game but the trainer was not updated. The problem is that Steam automatically updates the game and there is no way to turn off the updates. Unless someone can tell me how to prevent the game from being updated then I purchased a cheat that was incompatible and never going to work. Now I know about the option in steam under updates where you can select "do not automatically update this game" but this doesn't stop the updates. It basically does nothing. So can someone tell me how to install the game and prevent it being updated by steam? If not will the game be recoded for the new updates?
If not then how do I get credit or a refund?

This game was retired before you purchased your membership and it was clearly marked as so. Our membership is a SERVICE, not a PRODUCT and is provided as such. This service is not based on the performance of a single trainer out of the ten thousand that we have on the site. As it clearly states in the TOS, which you agreed to upon purchase, refunds are not granted after personalized software has been downloaded.

You can contact Steam to ask them how to download and play the game without automatic updates. We have no control over their software.

It was clearly marked as retired. The trainer version, which is also clearly marked, does not match the current game version. You simply didn't bother to read. Negligence on your part does not constitute fraud on their part. CH sells a service, not a product.
