If you are getting screen tear after the latest google chrome update. Please fear not. I was getting it myself, It only happens on video and it certainly doesn't happen for everyone. I was deadly afraid for all the scenarios there was. I tested and tested, I got advice from 10 different people in the end i had one friend that gave me some advice that made me think so i tested again. I used internet explorer every video that had given me screen tear, there was none on internet explorer. I will not suggest you switch browser I'm telling this to calm those down that may encounter this.

Are you just using the stable release? I haven't encountered this myself, but I use the beta version as my main browser (I enjoy having early access to new features)
