Gdday Gents,

Was wondering if one has the Rome restoration DLC yet started to play the game on the earliest date possible as Byzantium, what provinces do need to be captured to restore the SPQR?

You need the same provinces you need in the later start dates. Which I believe is all of the de jure lands of the Byzantium Empire plus the Kingdom of Italy, and the duchies of Carinthia, Alexandria, Antioch and Tunis. It's been a while since I've made it so I could be off a little.

Prestige of at least 3000.
The following Dutchies must be completely controlled:

Latium, Venice, Ferrara, Sicily, Apulia, Capua, and Genoa in Italy.

Croatia (just the Duchy) in Croatia.

Thrace and Athens in Greece.

Antioch in Syria.

Jerusalem in Jerusalem/Israel.

Alexandria in Egypt.

Tunis in Africa.

That's it. It will look a bit broken up still, but that's all you actually -need-, as of the 2.1.1 patch.
