For me it looks like the editor is working properly. I get the values of skills and so on. If you say the editor needs an update, what exactly doesn't work? And also please share your savegame in this case so I can verify.

Most of the editor works for me, the only thing that does not seem to stick is the max health stat. It saves ok because the save file shows the new stat and the editor loads the new stat but the game does not seem to use it and keep my old value.

I cant even load an edited save.

It could be changed by the game. When the savegame itself has the new value but it doesn't show up ingame, it might be ignored by the game itself and then there is no way for me to fix it. The editor simply changes the value in your savegame, that's all it does. If the game accepts the value is a different thing and out of the editors work.

Just tried it again and I think I had the savegame editor still open when I reloaded the edited savegame. My added skillpoints now DO show up.

I have the GoG version and am wondering if the trainers should work with it?
When I attempt to use them, they recognize the game as running, but when I attempt to apply a cheat I get a "0x90 Couldn't find game code!" error message.

0x90 I do like the error message btw.

It seems that the max health values are somehow connected to the char level.

Looks like you can't extend your health beyond the value calculated by your level and STR Attribute.

Not sure about this, however.

I generally prefer buying games from GOG instead of Steam so I also wonder if both trainer and editor are compatible with GOG’s version.
