Before we throw away $60 on this game only to find out that it's only MP in its current state, can someone please confirm that there is a working, OFFLINE, SINGLE PLAYER portion of this game currently available?

Alright so there is a single-player where you can face an A.I. HOWEVER, you must be online in steam because when you start the game it tries to connect to UberNet and will no connect unless you are online in steam. If you have any more questions about this game let me know. I'm here to help in any way. Also, if there are any game you guys are 'thinking' about getting I can check for you before you buy them. Just PM me because I don't read the recent posts often. It is just dumb luck that I saw this. Thanks ~Michael

what he means is if you can unplug your internet, start the game, start a single player whatever, and it works. right now I am reading on the steam sales page that it is MP and requires internet connection

That is true, even if you start a match and disable your wireless or unplug your internet you will get disconnected even if it is versus A.I.

I am trying to interpolate your statement.

so is it possible to
TURN OFF INTERNET (unplug your internet if needed to test this)
START THE GAME
START SINGLE PLAYER GAME

and play without logging into some server

we know steam has an offline mode, but my guess is that this GAME (even in SP mode) requires you be online and likely on one of their servers for now in this incomplete game development version they are selling.

Yeah, no luck is what I mean. It is not possible to play offline.
