i wana buster do i have to exit my cleint to do that craft spawn thing?

Thank you hinigashi, I've been getting the cube because I tried typing "toxicflower-back" because I saw an example of how to spawn the techs like "randblink-tech".

yep, exit game, and change the copper bar recipe(or whatever smelting recipe you have mats for) and change the output to buster, load game and craft it. You can also edit the buster item file to make it 1 handed so you can use another weapon in other hand. I did the same with all weapons, so i have buster in one hand, and a broadswoard in the other

I have two questions regarding the recipes editing stuff:

1. I tried the method Ashar posted earlier and so far it worked with most of the items except for the Space Marine armor and the Space Suit. I change the copper ore recipe but it just doesn't work and I end up crafting a Perfectly Generic Item. This is how I'm doing it:

Same thing with the rest of the set, as well as the Space Suit. Am I doing something wrong?

2. What about randomly generated weapons?

yeah, some items dont seem to work, havnt treed them all, the next best thing, is alter the stats on some other armor, and also replace the graphics with the space armor, you could even replace the ingame text, so the armor will look the same, have the same name and same stats, but have a different spawn name.

Currently ive replaced my glitch ship with and alternate colored apex one, and modfiied my armor manually to look better, with a buster in one hand, and braodsword in the other. Its awesome:

Just had anotehr fiddle, and managed to spawn in the tech station, a telepad (that actually works, sends you back to ship, even from underground), and the ship cargo panel, awesome 64 slot chest ; ) And instead of a crappy camp fire for cooking, ive got a microwave

Im on a roll tonight, spawned in a few awesome sidplay panels, a huge airlock door and some tesla coils. Was able to setup a working electrified fence that does about 50 points of dmg per tick.

How are you spawning things?

its not really spawning, im replacing output for recipes, so instead of turing copper ore into copper bar, i turn copper ore into anythign i want. Read the previous posts for how to guide
