Just disable the auto update for the game. Then you can play and wait for the new trainer. When the new trainer comes you can just update starbound and have fun with it again ^^

respect to the cheathappens crew! and shame on chucklefish i mean SERIOUSLY? how many bloody hotfixes can they push out in less then a week?
it was a major update, so it only makes sense that there would be some problems with it once it became public.
