I see what he is talking about. I was getting this error: i.imgur.com/SbwDLF4.png
But when I loaded the game first, then my save, then launched the trainer and activated, I didn't get the crash and now the trainer is working fine in my game, for now. I haven't completely tested but my dwarves aren't getting hungry and the resource editor is working A++.
So essentially, activating in game instead of the main menu helped me avoid the crash issues.
Personally, i don't mind if it takes a bunch of days to update trainers, but of course i won't complain about getting a fresh one so fast.
When i activatited trainer at menu, and then enterd game, i got CrashDump error, similar to what i had on the last trainer.
This happened in both Win 7 and Win 10 (Pro Insider Preview 10130)
But activating trainer AFTER i had entered game, it works just as it should.
Infinite Health, Never Hungry, Instand Mana Refill and Item Editor works at least

I saw the memory dump if I tried to press F1 inside the game (while playing). If I pressed F1 at the main menu, it didn't crash.
So I saw the opposite of what you were saying.
