XCOM: Enemy Within Message Board  

The reset is normal. That also happens in XCOM - Enemy Unknown. The "extra" hit points, offense, defense and Willpower is only in effect while in the mission. Everything reverts back to "normal" when your team returns to base.

Ok, it seems that the editor is no longer maintained to fix its panic level bug (see my post from july 12th Link), I've found another solution at another forum:

Edit the XCom-Enemy-Unknown\XEW\XComGame\Config\DefaultInput.ini
and put under section
[Engine.PlayerInput] (line 18)
.Bindings=(Name="U",Command="lowerpanic",Alt=True)

Now, you can lower with key Alt+U the panic level on all countries.

I accidently had unlimited resources enabled when starting a mission. It seems it's made everything that was in reasearch or any events queued up take the max allowed days.. so my covert operation now says 4k + days to completed. Is there any way to reverse this?

Been a long time fan of this site (as of yesterday been a member for 11 years) the trainers are always top quality so thanks for all that work. Anyway I got Xcom Enemy Within thanks to the current steam sale, great game I'm having a lot of fun with it. I have an "honest" game running (no trainer use at all) which is my game 1 saves, but I'm trying the latest Xcom: Enemy Within trainer for my game 2 saves - I'll give people freebie passes to think I'm just dumb here, but I can't figure out how this trainer works properly.

The only two things I got working is the bit about making all items in the grey market "unlimited" so I can sell forever and get wads of cash and the second thing I can get working is selecting a unit and giving them tons of health.

Nothing else in the trainer works for me at all. And the readme file that comes with it isn't very good at explaining, which surprised me because generally they are spot on.

The two things I'm really just wondering if I can do with this trainer: A) Is there a way to give my guys a ridiculous amount of turns and B) Is there a way to give my base say 50 scientists and 50 engineers?

Is there a way to give my guys a ridiculous amount of turns? This is covered by turns removed. The system allows for a maximum of 2 turns to be removed. Some actions use one turn but others such as overwatch use 2.

To get a large number of moves set the turns removed to a negative number. I use -90 personally and you will likely have to set the number each time you end your turn.

This Editor is NOT working in Windows 10, I've done everything you can think of yet it will NOT even run

This trainer may cause a false positive with Windows Defender. Please ensure this is not the issue (whitelisting resolves the issue on my machine)

I'm having an odd issue where I can't get either editor version to start. I have Windows 7, done the usual troubleshooting procedure. I have Bitdefender but shut the thing down, ran admin. I have task manager open and when I run it, it shows up in the processes but then goes away after a second or two.

The trainer works fine even with Bitdefender on. I just downloaded the editor from the non expansion XCOM and that one is doing the same thing. Tried looking for another game with an editor but can't think of one. I'll try another game editor if you can suggest one.
