Thanks for update, but....
If I load an old saved game, it still does not display correct panik level to countries: I've Nigeria with panik level 5, but it displays 0
South Africa and Egypt at Editor displays the level of USA and Canada from game...

I have problem with trainer/editor .. most of the things works just fine, however in some options, the trainer says "activated" and after another second it says "deactivated". I cant use the PLUS or MINUS etc to adjust some things .. e.g. rank, stats .. It also happens with engineers or scientists, but they increase the number .. same the money .. it says activated, it gives me 10K, but I have to wait until the "deactivated" message until I can use it again.
Same problem with the Editors .. one option is working, others dont .. E.g. lowering threat (sort of), stats (sad there are only ingame, not barracks) works, but no engineers, resources, money etc.
I have no AV, Firewall .. I actually never have problems with trainers .. except for wrong versions. Which could be the problem, but so far I never had a trainer who worked only for 50% .. either it works or it doesnt.
I checked the editor .. 1. Name of the states in editor is incorect 2. The last 3 doesnt work .. no what I put there, it is still zero and the game wont change it. 3. Others in red doesnt work too .. Rest is fine for me ..

@sh3riff:
At instructions is described:
For units: "While in the Base portion of the game, Enter the Barracks and then click VIEW SOLDIERS. Press the option key you wish to use to affect a soldier and you will hear 'Activated'. Next, Select a soldier before you hear 'Deactivated'. You can also press the option and then push one of the arrow keys below a soldier if you are already viewing a soldier. Just keep in mind that you PRESS THE OPTION KEY and hear 'Activated' and then need to select the soldier you wish to affect before you hear the 'Deactivated'. Then you can use the other options to affect the value for the soldier. At this point you will need to press eithe the Add Value, the Subtract Value, or the Super Value key to modify the value."

Just a general FYI - Windows Defender, in particular in Windows 10, has been updated to define the tmp file(s) generated by the editors and trainers as threats to the system.
I know the general instructions say to disable any AVs, but previously Windows Defender never had a problem with any CH trainers (that I know of) so I thought it might be useful knowledge.
You have to go into the Windows Defender program (from the system tray icon) and specifically allow it to operate.

I have contacted Microsoft regarding this false positive. This doesn't happen on all of our trainers and editors. I have run several of them with no issue using the latest Windows 10 defender definition update.

Oh man am I embarrassed, I was accusing the wrong program of being blocked by defender. It wasn't the trainer all along, it was editor #2.
Same error that everyone else is having, only editor +2.

Ok, replaying Xcom Enemy Within after a few years of sitting on my hard drive.
The editor only seems to work during missions and then all I can do is edit a soldiers hitpoints, to hit, and defense. Also, when the mission is over and we go back to the barracks all the stats and hitpoints seem to reset.
Trainer appears to be activating fine. When I look at stuff in building mode (Whatever you call it, non mission mode) I get strange numbers for certin areas, almost like it's no longer reading the right thing. It says I have 0 credits and 7138799 scientists or something.
Editor version is 1.0.0.9004
I cant seem to find the version of Xcom on my steam. It says everything is up to date though. Also, I bought Xcom when it first came out and got all the expansions. Could that have anything to do with it? Yes, I'm running the editor in Admin mode also. Anti-virus (Kaspersky) is turned off.

Hi, I downloaded the latest editor (July 2015) and have it set to run as admin. When I open it, a pop-up appears that says "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or if one is already installed create an association in the default programs control panel".
Has anyone else encountered this or know how to proceed? I can run the trainer just fine.
