iam wasnt complete sure iam using the trainer the right way, my english is not perfect and i have problems to understand the instrucions of the trainer.
so i started a complete new game and tested every single option one by one.
all options are now working for me. my game sometimes crashes BUT its doing so even without the trainer.
i dont know if there is any problem with the current patch of the game but its NOT the TRAINER wich is not working.
perhaps you should try it like i did. start a new game and test every single option on a fresh savegame. i really had problems to find the right keys for the oprions ( dont know if its because i use a german keyboard or not ) but after i figured that out ALL options are working now.
So just thx guys for your hard work and your patience with us. i got to the conclusion again that its just MY fault when the trainers doesnt work because i got problems to understand how to use it.
think about how hard it is to make trainers for this ***ing publisher who want to useless stop us from cheating in singleplayer games and try to spend some time on figuring the right way to use it
and happy new year to the Cheat Happens Team and all the user in here!
I'm still having problems with the trainer. I've done the same as the video, read the help file several times and still can't quite understand the whole process. The only option that works, is adding money. For any other options (including adding anything during a mission) the trainer says "activated" and a few moments later it says "deactivated". Could someone please explain to me what might be the problem?
sigh.. the instructions are quite clear..
"Make sure that you press the option key BEFORE you tab to
the unit you want to affect. For instance, press the
Modify Health option and you will hear 'Activated', and
then press TAB to move to the next unit. Wait for the
sound 'Deactivated'. The currently selected unit's values will
be shown in the inventory they have and you can press F1
to see the attributes like Offense and Health values.
Next, press one of the keys (Numpad 1 through Numpad 8)
to select the item to modify. Next, press either the
Add Value, the Subtract Value, or the Super Value key
to modify the value. For instance, if the unit has
Grenades and you want to add a grenade, press Numpad 5
and then press Numpad + to add a grenade. If you want
the unit to have a massive amount of Health, press
Numpad 1 and then Numpad *. You may have to Tab away
and back to the unit to see it has changed. Likely
these will remain at the level you set until the end
of the mission, and then they will reset. If the unit
isn't equipped with the item that the option modifies,
then likely the option won't work. For instance,
trying to give a unit Medkits when the unit isn't
equipped with them or for them won't work. If you want to
affect a different unit, you will have to press the key
that will affect the unit and then tab to the unit you wish
to affect before it says 'Deactivated'. "
basically press option you wish to affect, (i.e. health), then switch to the character you want to modify. make sure you aren't ALREADY on that character. do that BEFORE you hear deactivated. then press + or - to add or subtract. it's that simple...
i tried running with the latest trainer, and editor, and neither are working for me
the editor shows completly wrong numbers, like 32894732489327, and changing them seems to do nothing
i haven't found a way in-game to show version tho, so not 100 % sure
gonna fire up the game now, and redownload the latest editor, see if its me who's just a nab
just tried running with the latest editor, and it still shows abnorm values, like ''325325235'', and any attempts to change them, crashes the game
i would like to add i played with this version when it came out, and it worked then, so im pretty sure there was some kind of update

crashlog for Xcom does indeed still say 4964, which in turns says it must be something on my end, oh well, i'll start looking into it, sorry for claiming there was an update

you can only edit the values if you are in base and if you are they should turn to normal values and insteaad the values of the soldiers will turn to abnormal values.
chance soldier values if you are in a mission this works fine for me.
only thing that doesnt work for me sometimes is that the values for the countries are not exactly right, but thats mentioned in the discription you should try to load an earlyer savegame then.
hope that helps you!
During missions, I can modifiy the soldiers stat, but am incapable of adding alloys, meld or elerium during the base phase even though I am doing the same thing.

Finally found the origin of the problem, the key binding was faulty. Sorry for the inconvenience.
