Then I guess you will not buy Dragon Age: Inquisition.

I am disappointed with C&C being cancelled, VG ruined it by making it easier after me spending a while on working on the AI, and making it more pay to win.

EA cancelled it because they went off in a total tangent, so direct your anger at VG for ruining it at the end.

Can you pull some strings to get the DA2 combat back? Or an option in the character creation screen allowing a choice?

I gotta say, the only things that EA has done wrong in my eyes is the issuing of Online Passes and the mass production of yearly sports games. One of which is finally nonexistent, the other of which I don't see the end of anytime soon. Otherwise I tend to enjoy the games they put out, and that's enough for me.

Yes, that is correct. Also, I doubt the game got scrapped because the AI was too easy.

Are you perhaps talking about MVP Baseball? The 2005 version or whatever it stopped at is still better than baseball games by other companies today, graphics included IMO...

They made it pay 2 win, when it should have not been.

But they did make the AI easy, which made games against the CPU profitable to earn in game credit to buy the pay 2 win items.

    It all basically ruined it.

There was to be a single player campaign also, but of course that will not happen now.

Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA

I'll be honest and say I didn't play C&C Online for a long time, but the AI was insanely fast and OP, even when it was on easy. I barely placed 2 buildings in my base and there were already 5 NPC vehicles killing me.

As for DA series, long live Origins, the first and last of the Dragon Age series. What would I give to have that old MMO style monkeybash combat instead of the hack'n'slash combat.

I also fail to see the point in closing Victory studios. Would be more profitable to keep the people but switch them to a new/different project. EA can make up the lost money on the Sims games and DLC, that's more than obvious.

While EA are pretty bad, it doesn't mean you have to avoid all of their games, as they do produce some good ones.

When buying from EA just remember some things like:
    - Don't pre-order
    - Don't buy until you've researched the known issues (wait about a week after release to get a good idea of whats wrong)
    - Do research to find out if it has the gameplay features you want

These sort of guidelines have helped me get what I want when buying a game from EA and other companies (who are just as likely to do screw you around, just on a lesser scale) and I haven't been disappointed in a while now.

Oh and one more thing: Avoid the hype. It's designed to make you interested in the game without finding out facts about it.
