    I expected a #*&%ยง answer like this.
Nope I always try before I buy....

So if anyone has a more helpful answer for me I would be pleased.

I'm running a Legal Origin purchased version of the game. The bf4_x86.exe and bf4.exe were both modified on 2/7/14 so I'm using the 2/13/14 trainer. The trainer is located in the Battlefield 4 Folder. As per the instructions, I run the Trainer first, and then start the game using BattleLog, bf4_x86.exe or bf4.exe. No matter which way I go, the Trainer reports Game Not Found and will not activate.

The Trainer is not being blocked by anything, but cannot seem to find the game files. Any other suggestions?

[Edited by Perquak, 2/18/2014 8:22:58 AM]

On Further review I found that the Trainer is being blocked by Norton Internet Security, even though I list it as being safe. The Error Message is as follows:

    ategory: Norton Product Tamper Protection
    Date & Time,Risk,Activity,Status,Recommended Action,Date,Actor,Actor PID,Target,Target PID,Action,Reaction,Terminal Session

I tried everything possible to allow Norton to let me use the Trainer but nothing short of totaling shutting down Norton will appear to work since Norton claims that the Trainer is tampering with Norton's engine. Is there a fix for this issue?

[Edited by Perquak, 2/18/2014 9:52:59 AM]
I just tried turning OFF Norton Tamper Protection in the General Settings Menu. The Trainer was no longer blocked, but I still get a Game Not Found message and the Trainer doesn't initialize.

Yeah! All fixed and Norton Internet Security had nothing to do with the problem. I followed the suggestions in Caliber's February 1st post and set the game to run in 32 bit mode. The trainer now finds the game and activates just fine. The 64 bit mode was the problem.

It is odd the older version of the trainer worked on a x64 but now it does not.

I have no AV running, but the trainer just wont activate when hitting F1.

Not sure what else to change or test.

the trainer still works 100% correctly. there may just be a new interaction with the game that causes the close button to not be detected. Use Task Manager to close the trainer.

Also, some more tips on using our trainer with the game.

    1) Remember our trainer works ONLY with the 32 bit version. The best way to use the trainer is to go into ORIGIN and rightclick on the game and select PROPERTIES and then select Battlefield 4 (x86) from the "When launching this game" box and then APPLY. This will ensure that your game launches the 32 bit version.

    2) after updates, to make sure your game .exe get updated properly, go back to Origin and right click on the Game and select Repair Game.

    best,
    Cal

I've been able to get every trainer to work perfectly with the exception of the (Battlefield 4 Trainer PATCH 02-13-2014).One thing that i noticed is that when i run the trainer the (bf4_64) doesnt open in the game directory like it has with previous trainers for this game, and also when i press the F1 key at the main menu the trainer keeps flashing a message for me to run the trainer first in which i already did ...any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

tested by running in x86 mode and it works.
guess have to play the campaign in x86 and multiplayer in x64.
    Thanks Caliber.
