I can say only this:
I will take a remake of a classic over a movie adaptation...
True.. true... I think the only movie adaptation that came close to decent was Postal and that movie sucked real hard.
Dude.
Super Mario Brothers.
A movie so bad it's hilarious.
God aye. I forgot about that one. Its cornie funny Damn I think I might hunt it out now.

Then I'll shall see it! And maybe afterwards I'll see "Mortal Kombat" and "Street Fighter" cause I'm in the mood of brain damage today...
If you're referring to Duke Nukem Forever, it wasn't a remake by any means.
As for the actual topic at hand, I'm with @AdmiralThrawn. Any game that's a proper HD remake, such as Halo CEA, is fine by me. Otherwise a huge no-no. I read something about Fable HD on Kotaku that insinuated that the team at Lionhead working on it were taking the original story and taking the new Fable engine and making the game play like Fable 3. That's a prime example of a no-no with remakes if you ask me.

I guess you're right I should've included the word 'sequel' in the headline but still I say yay for both.

Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie is pretty decent, best game to movie adaption I've seen. Here's the opening (contains violence): [url]www.youtube.com/watch?v=4STFEvCa26w'>Link
