True.. true... I think the only movie adaptation that came close to decent was Postal and that movie sucked real hard.

If you're referring to Duke Nukem Forever, it wasn't a remake by any means.

As for the actual topic at hand, I'm with @AdmiralThrawn. Any game that's a proper HD remake, such as Halo CEA, is fine by me. Otherwise a huge no-no. I read something about Fable HD on Kotaku that insinuated that the team at Lionhead working on it were taking the original story and taking the new Fable engine and making the game play like Fable 3. That's a prime example of a no-no with remakes if you ask me.

@AdmiralP I liked the Doom movie. I know it was not exact to the game. It kept me hooked a nice bit of violence.

@kingkob never seen the postal one.
