Well, here's to hoping they do update it, would be pretty awesome.
I'm enjoying the game as is, I kinda find that they might have made it a lil harder maybe? Hardmode defently got a boost to hardness, but the new items I am finding and CHAIN and ROPE acting like a lift.. totally awesome.

I imagine it's coming, just gotta be patient. As another colleague put it earlier in a related thread about Terraria, you can always use CoSMOS.

Also, keep in mind that shortly after the 1.2 update, it updated AGAIN to 1.2.0.1

Wow - dev team must be busy, no update yet.

They're likely to remain busy with college in session and a plethora of patches/new releases this month.

No rush! :3

Mostly Esthetics, rope looks better in dungeon environments, and things that look heavy to hold =)

I'm build a construction crane looking thing into a pit I'm digging out with a steel chain leading deep down into hell.
And building Liquid Transfer stations along the side of the big pit I'm digging.. it's at least 70 squares across.

Now it is 1.2.0.2
