The developers have released the 1.5.0 update which adds DirectX 11 support, further optimizations and also changes the game from 32-bit to 64-bit.

For compatibility it seems they opted to create a new version of the entire game in a subfolder called "dx11" instead of patching the existing files, not quite a patch but entirely replacing the DX9 32-bit version would probably have made it impossible to continue supporting older systems.

Would be nice to see a new trainer created for this version of the game but I guess it would be more work than usual with a patch as they've changed both the graphics API and the entire code base from 32-bit to 64-bit.
(Not very common with such a drastic change from what I know, only other example I can think of would be X: Rebirth that also updated from 32 to 64-bit for version 2.00 I think it was but they replaced the default version and later discontinued the 32-bit opt-in branch entirely.)

I just downloaded it again. It's two separate games in one folder. I just wonder why they bothered to update this game. 🤔

just for your further amusement. It also downloads two 'separate' games. My first download just finished and ... just started again.

yes the game updated, and the org version is still intact and the current trainer still works.. but they added a dx11 version with x86 and x64 .exe's

i just hope if a new trainer is made, its made for the x64 .exe. imo what a huge improvement using the dx11 x64 version!!!

have you actually tried it? I did and it is TERRIBLE. They downgraded the graphics to PS3 quality and took out most of the options. I went back to the DX9 version.
