Is there anyway to turn off the "activated" comment??

yes please, got the same problem, it's hard living with that 'activated' without being able to adjust its volume. The trainers don't show up in sound mixer for me under Win7...

I can understand some of the users comments though, i recently got a few trainers from here and the "trainer activated" is rather loud, not to mention the toggle sounds

Although trivial its also an easy option to implement, a button/checkbox for no sounds wouldn't take much code either... but fundamentally its down the coders...

I tend to leave my headphones off until I'm done activating stuff

Was not a complaint, a question..
