Yep. Like I said before Caliber deleted my thread about this, it crashes the game on end turn. Its not the actual game because I have played up to 100 turns so far without the trainer and "ZERO" problems. I just dont see why Caliber has to be a jackass and actually say crap like "then dont use the option?" or "use it as intended"? First of all, if youre going to say this, make sure the readme says: "The game will crash if you dont deactivate options before ending turn" because it doesnt. Perhaps you could show us your brilliance by doing that instead of responding to others like a jackass. Besides, if it doesnt work for most, go figure...not the game. Anyway, just my 2 cents. enjoy the craptastic comment and just remember, we dont HAVE to use the trainers.
yeah the trainer doesn't say to turn options off when not using them...
Numpad 1: Mega Gold - press key to give yourself a large amount of gold.
Numpad 2: Unlimited Movement - toggle on and most units can move unlimited.
If you have just attacked a city or some auto-engagements, your
units will have to wait until the next turn to move. Turn off when
not in use to prevent AI from possibly using this at the END TURN.
Numpad 3: 1 Turn Troops - toggle on and select Raise Forces or Recruit Unit.
As you select units, you will see that they will complete in 0 or
1 turns. Turn off when not in use to prevent AI from possibly
using this at the END TURN.
Numpad 4: 1 Turn Construction - toggle on and while in a City, many items
when selected for construction will complete in 1 turn. Turn off when
not in use to prevent AI from possibly using this at the END TURN.
Numpad 5: Fast Research - toggle on and enter the TECHNOLOGY screen. Each
icon you click will complete much more quickly as you progress
through the technology trees. Turn off when not in use to prevent
AI from possibly using this at the END TURN.
Numpad 6: Reveal Enemy Units - toggle on and when you select enemy ships or
units, many times you can see what the units are and mouse over them
and reveal much information about them. Further, you can manipulate
them using the Weak Unit option once this is on.
Numpad 7: Heal Unit - Open up a force icon on the map by clicking on it to
display it's forces. Mouse over one of the units in the force and
press this key. If the unit was damaged or missing some men, it will
instantly increase back to full strength.
Numpad 8: Weak Unit - Open up a force icon on the map by clicking on it to
display it's forces. Mouse over one of the units in the force and
press this key. This will set the unit to a decimated status with
very few troops to fight. You can use this on enemy troops to
weaken them.
Numpad 9: Super Units - Open up a force icon on the map by clicking on it to
display it's forces. Mouse over one of the units in the force and
press this key. This powerful option creates massive unit armies
which are many times more units in each army than normal. You can
use these armies to autoresolve battles or actually take them into
the combat phase of the game. BEWARE! if you take thousands of
troops into battle, the game will work, but action will slow to a
crawl. If you mouse over a Super Unit and press this key again, it
will revert the unit back to it's normal size.
F2 Key: Level Up - Follow instructions carefully! This is suggested ONLY on
generals, but you can experiment with other units. Select a Force
and then click the DETAILS icon to open up the DETAILS window. Next
select the GENERAL DETAILS icon to open up your General's details.
Observe the level and the XP bar. Press this key to add a level.
Each press adds 1 more level. If you level too high, the trainer will
reset you back to level 1.Exit out of the DETAILS window back to the
map. Re-Enter the Details window and the GENERAL DETAILS section
and examine the Level. It should have increased.
F3 Key: Add XP - Follow instructions carefully! This is suggested ONLY on
generals, but you can experiment with other units. Select a Force
and then click the DETAILS icon to open up the DETAILS window. Next
select the GENERAL DETAILS icon to open up your General's details.
Observe the level and the XP bar. Press this key and then Exit
out of the DETAILS window back to the map. Re-Enter the Details
window and the GENERAL DETAILS section and examine the XP bar. It
should have maxed out for the current level.
F4 Key: Mega Skillpoints - Follow instructions carefully!
Re-Enter the Details
window and the GENERAL DETAILS section and you should be able to add
more skills to your character. If you use this option again it will
set the skills back to 0. Some skills will not open until you have
done certain things or if you haven't levelled up at least once or
to certain levels.
Numpad 0: Population Surplus - Select a city and note the Surplus Value. Press
this key and then click away from the city and then click back to it.
You will have much more Population Surplus. This allows you to expand
the city and build more things on it.
Numpad *: Reset Food - press this key and it will increase your food until
you press END TURN. This may reset at each turn. To manage your
food properly, it's probably best to 1) not create 500 armies if you
only have 2 cities 2) reduce your taxes to 0 3) use the Edicts to
give more food or 4) learn to play the game so that you don't over
extend your resources too quickly.
and we haven't posted this information (about turning the options off before ending turns) like 100 times, both in the towr2 forums and every forum for this cabal series of games.. right?
the reason I am being impatient is that there is no fix for this since I am not having the same problems repeatably. not only that, the trainer works fine here. if the game is scanning or using anti cheat measures, I have not detected it. and my troll alert seems high right now as well..
wouldn't it be nice if we had this kind of info?
hey caliber. start up a campaign with romans. open the technology tree. turn the research option on then click the economy button. turn the research option off. then click end turn. it crashes every time for me.
or
here is my savegame. every time I start it and then press end turn it crashes. every time. etc.
then I can actually TEST something like that... because it is repeatable.
