If I use my offline key and have trainer blocked in firewall the trainer hangs for awhile then after a few minutes it will start authenticating.

If I allow it access in the firewall it immediately will authenticate.

My whole reason of using the offline key was to be able to use trainer offline.

How can I use trainer offline and have it authenticate quickly like it should?

    Thank You

I can't just disable lan. I still want access to internet for whatever. Just don't want trainer to have web access.

If it authenticates when unblocked and online...than why can't you use it like that? That way you don't even really need the offline key. The purpose of the offline key is to allow those without a connection to still be able to authenticate the trainer.

Basically, if you aren't having issues using the trainer online...why create an issue by not using the offline key as it is intended. It just seems unnecessary.

I agree. I just use to do it this way with the older style trainers and used it offline w/o problems. It just annoys me when something doesn't work like it used to.

I'm just a paranoid person and when something needs to go online for no reason I guess I just get a wild hair up my ass.

Sorry for even making this topic. I'll just get over it and use it online.

Thank You both for your help.
