I admit I am a long term user of CH. I Find their support across the games to be outstanding. Furthermore I wish to join many people here in offering my ongoing thanks for the dedication and hard work that is being put in by the crew to make such a huge amount of trainers.

I was lucky to buy my lifetime membership back in 07 I cant remember how much it was but at the time I had my health & was working flat out thus I did not mind the fee. If I was in the same position once more I would do it again without hesitation as it is fully worth it, especially as the enjoyment of playing games slightly differently has saved me more then the lifetime fee (I re-played old games again, not brought new ones that were similar).

    To those who wish to complain;

CH has every right to change the options and/or limitations they put on their membership packages so long as sufficient notice is given (it has) and the reasons are reasonable (games requiring this many patches require extra work which is above & beyond what was envisaged at the time the yearly membership was created).

Essentially Wiz is right we should direct all this frustration toward game developers who are releasing half finished games. A LOT of games from big names are now released with a patch on release day. THE SAME DAY, that is not a finished game, that is a rushed product.

    Hey everyone

I've been a member since 2005 and I don't ever regretting purchasing the unlimited membership

That said, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, if they don't want to pay that's their business, if they want to complain then each to their own.

As others have said the times are changing and the CH team have every right to charge for their services/trainers if they want just as people have the right to object if they do, you either use the service offered or not

As for me I'm happy to continue to use CH's trainers for as long as I can and I hope that PWizard and the rest continue to produce great trainers forever.

    Thanks guys!

PW, Regarding my last post involving the policy, i do fully appreciate the work you guys put into this, i was just a bit taken a back when i couldn't download trainers for games i play a lot. I know it effects very few games but it just seems to be the ones i play the most. I shall (in future) just upgrade my account to the lifetime and go from there.

    Thanks for the advice.

Oh, and btw, my post wasn't a total gripe, just a true reflection of what i'm currently encountering!

It seems that, as usual a company needs more money from it's customers to balance out it's overhead; which is not only fair, but expected in in recent years. It seems the only ones complaining are people that haven't taken advantage of the amazing amount of offers they've had and haven't contributed. Not only am I an author and semi-consistent reviewer; but I paid for my full membership at full price before I even submitted anything to support the site.

Find me a better site for trainers, cheats, and info for games than this and I'll happily link you the page to their (more likely more expensive) sub options.

Seems fair to me, but as I'm already a lifetime member I am kind of biased.

Quick question, will this policy apply to early access games or beta games that are being updated constantly or will it only apply to games once they have been fully released?

Applies to every game. If people request a trainer for an early release game and we make it, that starts the count.

I am a long time user and huge fan of CH and I recently upgraded to lifetime in order to support CH and get the trainers for games that are 20+ patches. While I totally agree with and understand the need to monetize their significant efforts for certain games there is one statement CH is making that I do not agree with.

Not all of these games are releasing patches because they are buggy, sure bug fixes are needed along the way but many of these patches are carrying additional functionality, adjustments to game mechanics and enhancements to games that we the gamers have specifically asked for.

Again, I feel the lifetime requirement on CH's part is totally justified but I would frame it as just what it is. It takes an enormous amount of effort to update a trainer for game every week or so and that costs money.

I just re-subscribed in July. If I had known you were going to institute a new policy that unfortunately affects certain games I play I would have purchased the lifetime. Any chance you will allow us to pay the difference rather than the full cost?
