The first number is different based off of your account and different for everybody, I'm pretty sure. The second number is the game's ID number.

I've been editting my file around for a while and I can't seem to edit the fan number to around 99M. I was able to edit it to 3M before but now I get an error when I edit it. Luckily I didn't forget to save the game into a slot beforehand.

You messed up somewhere. i tried: 18446744073709551615.

This number represent the limit of 8 Bytes signed interger (or long in C# or c++). I did not have a crash

Well, I ultimately found the location, but it doesn't do anything, when I load the game, it changes it back to what it was.

I give up with it.

How do I change the research? What is it called in the data file?

I've updated the steam editor/trainer by adding two new features to the savegame editor part:

- Max Research Points
- Max Fans

Should be posted later today or tomorrow. You can edit the savegame on your own but then you need to take care of the structure. Keep in mind to replace only existing numbers and not adding new ones as then the game restores your savegame from the cloud. Although it's much easier with the editor.

Dunno then. I was able to edit the save file when playing the DRM-free version but the Steam version won't let me edit the numbers to a high value. I've editted slot_auto, slot_1, and general just for the heck of it but none of them worked...:/

Can I ask where you found the research points? There doesn't appear to be an actual matching field in the JSON.
