I managed to add +1000 skill points with a function on the trainer, is there any way to remove these ?

you will have to reset your game in the settings, this will start you all over though.

you can do this in game right ?

What happens if you reset your skill points, will it reset them back down to the correct amount? I don't mind the 1000 since I only build my character the correct way and left the extras but still it would be nice to alter them without losing everything else. I'm playing mostly 100% legit other than the money, because I think the devs making us pay for skills was a bad idea.

If you reset your skill tree, it refunds back all your skills which you have invested in the tree. But if you were to use the "Clear Progress" function located in the Options menu, it will basically reset your entire game. You will start fresh.

yeah that would be too much, I saw that option. it would be good to remove the points we aren't using but it's not that big a deal.

I personally did not use the retail trainer for skill points. Instead, I used the beta version trainer as it only gave 500 points. On top of that, it has a function to reduce the amount of skill points available.

hm what is the beta trainer exactly and does it still work in that way? I just would like to know i'm not putting more points into skills than I should, but also remove the temptation.
