So I decided it's time to get rid of my old crappy laptop(lenovo g560e) and upgrade to a decent one.
Here is the model I set my eyes on:Link

The one I want has nvidia 620m 1gb gpu and Intel® Core™ i3-3110M processor, 3 MB, 2.4 GHz.
There is another model which is all the same but the cpu: Intel® Core™ i5-3230M processor, 3 MB, 2.6 GHz, up to 3.2 GHz
It costs about 130$ more..
I was wondering is the difference between the two cpu's is really noticeable in their mobile version? because the two are dual core.. and if so does it really worth the price difference?
thanks.

Sweet! How did you came up with such a nice compare..
Well like I suspected I see there is'nt much difference and it certainly dosent worth the 130$ so I'll go for the I3, thanks bro!

If you're not going for a dedicated gaming laptop, get one with an AMD CPU. AMD integrated graphics are a hell of a lot better than Intel's.

Unless of course, you need more CPU power than GPU power. But if you're in that field, get another desktop...

I am not certain if you are going for a gaming laptop either, but if you are; do some research on the GPU's capabilities and compatibilities. My ASUS R500V is running a GeForce GT 630M, and honestly I wish now that I had shelled out the extra currency to step up to a GTX 660M or better. Although most of my games run respectably, I have had a handful of issues where the games would not run at all (DA II being a memorable one). As it turns out, since my mobile GPU was so "dependent" (for lack of a better word) on the Intel graphics processor that the games would only recognize the Intel chip's capabilities. They would therefore deem my rig incapable of running the software. I am not certain why that is, I believe DABHand posted about it in another thread sometime ago, but it prohibits you from playing some games.
