Just confirming the bug chenlin98 is describing; I'm also not seeing any reinforcement when the trainer is running. Shutting down the trainer doesn't change this, so whatever the trainer injects when it's first activated (or maybe one of its options?) seems to be the culprit.

Cal, admittedly, I know nothing of trainer coding, or any coding for that matter, but I've used a lot of your trainers over the years - perhaps this game will require something along the lines of Shogun 2? An automatic or manual on/off switch?

Worst comes to worst, we can always just manually use the F5 option to replenish the units, seeing how it insta-does what in-game reinforcement does over time.

here is how I have always used the option.

select a free standing army. click this option:

F6 Key: Super Unit - make sure you are mousing over the unit or
units you wish to affect. Mouse over unit and press key
it will affect all units you are hovering over, including
enemy and other faction units. This will fill all units
that are affected to super unit groups that are 50 times
the size of normal unit groups.

then attack another free-standing army and it wipes them out since you are 100 times more powerful.

if the unit count goes back to normal or troops are 'killed' I just select it again and press F6 to reset it to super troops.

this is how I have always used the option. so the confusion I have is that I don't have a clue what the problem is since it is working just like I intended and perfectly here where I test it. if there was some other 'bonus' feature that happened that I didn't know about and that isn't working anymore then likely the developers changed the code so much that it won't do "whatever" that is anymore.

lastly, if this is being used online and it doesn't work in multiplayer matches or something, then good. working as intended.

    best,
    Cal

    Hey Caliber,

The problem is as soon as you press F1 to activate the trainer none of your troops reinforce anymore. You need to restart the game without the trainer for it to start reinforcing units again.

so for players who wants to play without the F6 Super unit option their troops won't reinforce.
The all options are working as intended but as said if you want to just use some options like more gold, you need to start the game with trainer and add gold then restart the game without the trainer to be able to reinforce armies.

Yep, that's basically what the problem is in a nutshell.

The trainer works perfectly just as intended, except that for those who do not use any of the troop options, just activating the trainer locks out the normal, vanilla "untrained" troop reinforcement.

So basically to recreate this - load up EU4, activate the trainer, go into any battle, lose a few men, go back into friendly territory and wait for them to replenish - with the trainer activated they won't.

Edit: Just so that there's no misunderstanding, this isn't a showstopper by any stretch of imagination (at least not for me) and you've provided ample options to work around it; it's just an annoying niggle for those of us who prefer to keep the military aspect realistic, for a lack of a better word.

this is what happen to me when I press F6 super unit option.. every country in the world have them too. including the rebel. when y0u have max tech your troop get stronger right.

and when you colonise a country big enough it want to break off you, & when it does they will have you tech lvl.

so the problem is that the rebel of the colonise country are as strong as us & more troop. 🤔

I remember when the trainer 1 came out the super unit only affect the player only not Al. so is there any possibility you can try to fix??
    I tell you later

I hate to have to chime in, but I also found that the trainer and game had compatibility issues. Once I activated the trainer, my troops no longer would rebuild (reinforce).

Don't get me wrong Caliber, your trainers are extremely professionally done and I fully appreciate your skills in making games funner to play. It just appears there is some weird effect going on here.

you do realize you can replenish instantly ANY troop by pressing:

    F5 Key: Refill Unit

    maybe I am still confused..

Hey, as others have said activating the trainer stops reinforcements, but it is not only reinforcements that are effected. You still get charged for the reinforcing units and you manpower still goes down. If your paying attention it is fine but i often leave 1 or 2 troops in colonies to protect them from native uprisings and since there are no reinforcements i have to go manually reinforce them after each battle and that gets really annoying very quickly esp some of the really aggressive colonies. Sure i can f5 them but that means constant micromanagement when they should be reinforcing themselves.

Its a great trainer by all means but with 1 small annoyance. Thanks for your hard work in maintaining the trainer for this game though.
It's difficult to "serve a person". But it is far more difficult to bring up "people who serve".
