Just a heads up people - there will be a new DLC pack released today alongside a new patch (1.4), set your game not to update in Steam and ride it out until CH update the trainer.

The new trainer for 1.4.0 seems not to keep the number of troops large when you assault a holding. What is 100k jumps back to 1000 and then the assaulting troops get their butts kicked by the defenders? How do I let the developer know of this issue?

the trainer works just as it always did.. you have to select the unit again and then reset it back to high level again

hey moderator - appears that under 1.0.4 the trainer messes with the ability to reinforce your units even if you have adequate manpower.

I have say a 100k manpower, yet units sizes of 100/1000 (from attrition and battle losses)

I tested it without the trainer and the mechanism works fine, but with the trainer activated then the mechanism screws up.

FYI - no mods are running, this is running 1.0.4 inclusive of Colonial Conquest expansion.

I've been experiencing the same issue as chenlin98 regarding reinforcement of units when the trainer is activated. The issue seems to apply to both the AI and player.

Apart from the reinforcement issue, the trainer seems to work perfectly so thank you at CH for your fast releases and support.

if the option is useless then let me know and I will remove it. the developers of this game completely rewrite code at almost every patch. this latest 'patch' I had to rewrite much of the trainer from scratch, including how to get around the baked in code that resets troop values back to normal levels. the intention of the option is to boost your number of troops so that you can own opposing troops in battle. it works here without fail. if the option is useless then let me know and I can have one less option to rewrite when this game patches again for the 20th time

Hey Cal - thanks again for producing a trainer so quickly and as always we appreciate the good work from the CH team.

It may appear from your response that you may have misunderstood the issue I described. Just to clarify - the moment the trainer is activated, units cannot reinforce back to full strength. If an unit suffers attrition from 1000 men to 900 men, it would not ever reinforce back to 1000 men even if you had sufficient manpower. Under normal circumstances the game mechanism would reinforce the unit back to 1000 men in time if there is sufficient manpower.

The issue here isn't so much a particular option - it occurs when the trainer is activated. As such, this isn't an option that can be removed unless the trainer isn't used which evidently defeats having a trainer in the first place.

It would be highly appreciated if you could look into this issue when you get a chance.
