For the me game crashes with certain guns if you click on a certain mod when trying to modify the weapon. A few weapons that do this that I can remember off the top of my head are:
Car-4 when clicking on Stealth Barrel
One of the AK guns when clicking on one of its mods, cant remember which
The Compact-5 sub-machine gun has one of it's mods crashing the game too.
Also unlocking the mods makes all the new DLC items invisible in the mods list, and you cannot modify the scope reticle anymore when you have unlocked the mods using the trainer.
can you purchase the items, then close the game. then restart the game without the trainer and THEN craft without problems? the trainer is mainly mostly effective to allow you to see the items and buy them.
obviously we are trying to minimize the trainer UNLOCKING or DISPLAYING items that a user who DIDNT PAY FOR IT needs to actually purchase DLC content to see.
best,
Cal
I can confirm that modifying some weapons, that have new mods included in the Gage Mod Courier DLC (I do own it), crashes the game while having the "Unlock Mods" option enabled.
Without the trainer I can freely edit all my weapons.
I only tried it with the weapons that I own and I found these crash the game:
Primary: AK.762 Rifle, IZHMA 12G Shotgun.
Secondary: Bronco .44 Revolver, Deagle Pistol.
I get the crash right after I click "modify weapon" in the inventory.
My guess is the new tab added for new mods is the culprit.
The generic mods that fit different riffles (without adding new tab for them) work like a charm.
Thanks for all your hard work, Cal.
MC out.
EDIT: OK, I found a way to prevent this. Just use the last option - Unlock All Items and there we go. No crash, can mod all of the weapons nicely.
Once again thank you for the trainer.

After using the "unlock mods" option, the game crashes when I try to purchase/craft the mods I listed before. It wont actually purchase since as soon as you click "yes" the game crashes. I do own the DLC, so it isn't trying to unlock something I don't own. It just seems like some of the new DLC stuff is not playing nice with the old version trainer. Thank you for looking into it.
lol. we're not looking into it. we just posted that we don't own the DLC nor do we plan to buy it. we also posted WHY we are hesitant about creating unlock all options since that will basically give people who DIDNT buy the DLC the DLC content.
third, someone else posted a possible suggestion (unlock all option), to try and help

Cal
As a careful player and user of your trainers, the latest update to the game got me hinting of worry.
Added more cheater protection to the game
Added more cheater detection to the game
I do not know how this functions, if it's for .lua hackers or for people like us that use the Trainer. In any case, I feel I should note it for you guys (Developers). There may be a need for you to update your game (not buy the DLC) and check if it will search for the Trainer or something a like.
Thank yuo for the continued work you guys do.
I smell VAC implementation. Wait for the icon to pop up on the store page. :P
