Shadowrun Returns Discussion
Found the value for magic, but that is recalculated too.
So how would you get around something like that? Or is it not even possible?
In the SR rules set, Essence is tied to a lot of things, but not directly used for very much, and visa versa. If it isn't hard-coded, you may end up needing to wait until someone figures out how to mod the game files to either create "essence free" cyberware versions, or something similar.
Heh. Create mod, duplicate cyberware, set essence cost to 0, dub them "Zeta-grade" and call it a day...
I can look at the essence option possibly. Read here at my post and then respond there.
could someone who knows about hex-editing take a look at the .Bytes files in (steamfolder)/Shadowrun-Data/StreamingAssets/ContentPacks/Seattle/data
because it is possible to put your own Pictures as Portraits into the game (../Seattle/art), so it might be possible to lower essence cost there as well.
I just really don't know where to start.
But the trainers works like a charm.
And btw thank you CH! I used to play Shadowrun in my SNES. I really hope more good rpg will get a sequel without losing their original sence.
