Dang, steam is updating agian lets hope its something good although i have been a steam beta member since the beginning of steam. im going to log into my steam support and see what their main goal is for these updates. but i have a feeling that these updates are to prevent all the hack steam . theres a whole lot of hacked steams going around lately. last that i knew, steam got all the hacked steam servers shut down.

How do you shut down the Steam Trainer Compatibility tool once you are done with it

Here is what steam fixed with the updates And there was some Beta Client updates so it realy had nothing to do with trainers or cheats it was steams goof.

Updated Web controls user-agent to better reflect the code it is based off

Fixed green inbox count not always including the count of offline messages available

Fixed selecting ‘X unread chat messages’ to always bring the newly opened chat dialog into focus

Fixed Guide button not working correctly when Steam was launched directly into Big Picture mode


potential crash in library details if a game has guides available and you quickly enter and exit the details view


((((Fixed resource leak on game exit leading to graphics corruption ))))))

Fixed memory leak when hovering URLs in the HTML control

Fixed workshop items not clearing from the download status label when completed

Fixed crash when getting lots of friends updates and you have a large friends list

Fixed password reset error when sending trade requests also causing the new device message to display

Fixed crash on launch for some third party DRM protected games under Windows

To get the new steam update if you havent already restart or shut down steam and start it back up its a big update so it may take a while to get to every steam member because of the volume of steam members.
If theres some games in your steam that wont work, try going to that particular game in your steam library and look for updates for the game there because there has been a lot of memory leaks with some of the games on steam.

I had gibbed nearly angry on their forums...

I carried on like an irate customer wanting a full refund. So many people believed all I was saying, it was so much fun.

Funny thing gibbed never once checked my profile to notice who it was :P

But he did act big headish with his "small refund" comment. OOOOOOHHHH.
