Yeah I just checked bioshock infinite trainer that still works but the van helsing one still isn't working. I don't have time right now to really find out what was gonna be a quick bout of gaming b4 work has turned into fapping around fer half an hour. I'll try it all after reboots etc tonite.

well i did what it says run the "Steam_Trainer_Compatibility_Tool"
then run the trainer nomaly but the trainer dosn't work for me when i click the key i wont to use it the game i die "is that something to do with the ultamet vulte hunter mode"

Well, I've posted my comments on the Steam forum. Just hope they listen to us and this gets reversed.

How sad, I cannot buy games anymore that aren't on Steam. Now I don't even own what I purchase and I must now play it how someone else decides is best for me. This makes me sad. I am downloading the Steam Tool now, hopefully it will fix the issues and I do hope they recant on this issue as it violates my rights as a game owner.

It would if you had any. Read the EULA, you're a game license holder. They can revoke said licensing. Digital distribution apart from GoG is the same across the board. GoG is the only site that allows you to own the files you download.

Wow...23 pages so far on the 9th! Didn't read all of them but I can report that this doesn't seem to be affecting Resident Evil 5 (which is almost 4 years old). I wouldn't put it past the Publishers insisting Steam do this though. And there is more co-op and solo play in some games that hinge on multi-player fairness for everyone. But it is a shame for offline single-player stuff.

If developers and publishers want to sink PC gaming all for the consoles then they are still on track. Why not just stop publishing PC action and RPG games then?

RE5 is pretty much the last really old game I'm playing. GoG is interesting but only in bringing back old memories of many games I've played. I'd rather play 'The Last of Us' over again on the PS3.
