Looks like steam did another update today 12/11/2013.My game crashing with trainer also.
I checked and there was no update on our steam today. are you sure?

when I started the game on 12/11/2013 a message came up steam is loading an update.
My steam didn't show an update since the 9th but shows the current version as 1.1.19.29558 :\
Same version here also. Must be crashing because I bought and loaded the latest DLC Cult of the DEAD.
