you can use these to change what your starting character begins with.
The template is in your savegame folder, and has a profile-#########-########.netuser appearance. Open in notepad and edit as desired.

Stats max out at 30, you can put higher numbers in, the game cuts them down when it imports them.
Skills max out at 17.
Cold resistance does not work.
To heal really fast and never run out of mana change the numbers for updatetime to something small, like 0.01.

You can change setgold to anything within the limits, I got 9 digits to work, 10 does not seem to work.

1000 reputation is maximum

additionawareness crashes game when I change it.
activeitemslots does nothing after the 224 and I have not tried anything smaller.


Template character changes.

You can use these to add items to your starting character.

Edit added some numbers to some of the templates. Such as 0 thru 64 for template 33 runes stones and the fact that the god runes are 0 thru 26

very nice finds with those items and templates

i also did something similar but i put that in general discussions thread, so best is to put it also in here to keep it together

some points of notice: seems the screen resolution doesn't stick when you set it in game, in that case go to c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Legends of Dawn\config game_lod.config.txt and change :

display_resolution: 1920 1080 ; here you set your res
renderselections: 1
fullscreen_bpp: 32 ; here you set your screen bpp
fullscreen_refresh_rate: 120 ; and here you set your refresh screen rate
note: this are my settings

also another thing you can do in the save\lod folder
you notice 1 premade female char, file name, profile_xxxx_xxxx.netuser , you can edit this in notepad

also when you make your own char it will make a .netuser, which you can edit.

By the way, does the speed thing work? I tried it on some weapons, I did one at 0.200000 and another at 8.000000 and both weapons seemed to attack at a similar speed.

I didn't noticed any difference changing speed either, also the heal faith update settings, worked the first time, but a second level up went slow filling the faithbar again in my case.

i also figured out what the specialmodifiertemplate does:

Edit character startup and game crashes when I choose new game, any clues on how to fix this?

What position in the save file do you put the additem?

can be you made some editing errors

in above example i gave those ; quotes as a reminder what every change does , those ; quotes cant be placed at every spot.

for example: name: jacks hammer ;custom name, only works with specialmodifiertemplate 0-59 60 and higher numbers overrides this name

if you did something like in my example the game crashes, so only edit it like name: jacks hammer ,in this case
