Regarding the Savegame, This saved game file is for the STE....

Is there any remote chance to make this compatible with the uplay version of the game?

* * NEW SAVED GAME FILE FOR DOWNLOAD AS OF 30 JUNE 2013 * *

PLEASE NOTE: My saved game file may not be compatible with certain versions of Assassin's Creed III. This file is intended for the STEAM version with the game fully updated and all expansions installed. During testing my saved game file has worked with other versions however the results were not consistent.

Uplay for unknown reasons decided to make a couple different versions of this game. Depending on what version you have and where it stores your saved game will depend if my saved game file will work for you. One version will create your saved games into a Ubisoft folder. The other version will create it in a Orbit folder.

If your saved games are created in a Ubisoft folder and your game is fully updated with all expansions installed, my saved game file may work. If your saved games are created in a Orbit folder than I'm sorry my saved game file will not work.

HOW TO INSTALL:
1) This step is very important. Under Uplay settings make sure that the box is unchecked for Enable Cloud Save Synchronization For Supported Games. If this box is checked and you try to use my saved game file the game will overwrite it with a previous saved game of yours.

2) Backup than deleted your saved game folder named 54.

The location of your saved game on Win7 is as follows...

C:\Program Files (86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\Savegames\ Folder with a long extension of letters, dashes and numbers\

3) Place my saved game folder (54) into the above location.

4) Start the game.

MY SAVED GAME FILE INCLUDES...
* Main story mode 100% completed
* The Tyranny Of King Washington 100% completed
* All side missions completed
* All mission objectives completed
* All items unlocked and collected
* All outfits unlocked and collected
* All weapons unlocked and collected
* All underground tunnels discovered
* All Forts discovered
* All naval missions completed
* Homestead missions completed and built
* Assassin's Guild completed with all Assassin's ranked 11.
* All Club challenges completed

Hi Great post.
But i followed the info but did not work.
But i have Windows 8 if that could be the issue.
I use steam, i unchecked the uplay box about cloud save.
But when i start the game it tell's me that the save is corrupted.
pls help

Sorry to hear my file did not work for you. As stated there are a couple different versions of this game. I wish my file was compatible for all versions. Do you know what version you are using? Standard Edition, Collectors Edition, Deluxe Edition. All of these play a factor whether or not the file will work.

My saved game file was created using the Steam's Deluxe Edition. I know that my file works for the Deluxe Edition as well as the Collectors Edition. If you have the Standard Edition than that could be your problem.

I have Deluxe Edition.

You mentioned Win8. What is the location of your saved game?
