Planetary Annihilation

Funded by means of kickstarter , they gathered a bit more then 2 million dollars to fund the game.

Guess what they put as price on steam for this .... game













Yup thats right 82.99 euros thats more then 90 dollars.

Ohh and you get access to the alpha also.. what ever.

Its a customer annihilation. Wont buy that ever lmao

I believe what happened was that the kick starter people actually complained, because Planetary Annihilation was originally on steam for much cheaper. Those that had funded it via Kickstarter (who receive many more benefits then simply buying it on steam) argued that it shouldn't be cheaper for the same access.

However if you look at it, its $90 for Early Alpha access, this price will run June Through August.

Then in September through November, the price will drop to $60

Then it will enter its retail price in December, which will likely be $40

Clearly you've never heard of the Ponzi scheme.

The reason is what Krompt says. $90 was what you had to donate to the kickstarter to get early access. The game isn't finished.

Although, it's not true that buying it on Steam cuts you out of the $90 donation level goodies offered in the KS. If you pay $90, you still get the same stuff you would have gotten if you'd paid $90 back when the KS was open.

The really bad news is all PC games (New Ones)are increasing in price and yes we are getting ripped off Big Style and I am sick of it.

i had high hopes for this game, but with this pricing, all they're doing is aliennating the players, and also encouraging piracy, mark my words, this game will bust, hard

Galactic Edition Equivalent with all addons is why the $90 otherwise, it would be $60.

Um, so yeah everyone's been QQing about this all day long, where does it say you absolutely must buy the alpha or beta?

nowhere, but you're missing the point, if people support this, they're sending the signal that we accept outragoues prices, 60 euro for a game now, is bad enought, but how would you like, a year from now, that the asking price on steam, is 80-100 euro per game, that's is what's gonna happen when you blindly buy a game, in alpha, for such outrageous amounts


oh, and btw, this is by no means a triple A title, its a indie game, so lets raise it to 120 euro, for say a EA game, have fun with that


at best, this should be 15-20 euro for alpha acces, and even then, its pushing it!
