I double checked the wiring all is good and in place.

i also checked some forums about freezing problems with the same card as you have and most are telling it can be a driver problem some used the latest driver some went back to the earlier. since its a rather new card

I suspected it would be the case like i wrote in my earlier posts in this thread, I actually hope it's a driver issue and not a power issue..

    hmm, look at this

in case of the how to uninstall a driver peoples use a lot different methods but i always go along these lines:
uninstall by control panel, restart in safe mode. use driversweeper to clean up any old driver residues.
    restart system install new driver.

    www.guru3d.com/content_page/guru3d_driver_sweeper.html

that way i know almost for sure the new driver is the only one, and no left overs of older ones

Yeah nothing new, anyway I noticed that games freeze not only on the load screen but also when i try to quit the game and even during games like crysis3 when I enter the weapon mood to install the silencer the game freezes most of the cases...

Try reverting to a previous driver than the current one and try again.

As said 550W should be sufficient, 600W is just a "you should be alright no matter what with this amount" type PSU. As explained with my calculations you have 180W to go around everything else except your Motherboard and GPU.

It could be just the current driver is causing all the fuss. But that can be eliminated trying the previous version instead.

EDIT: Oh is your Molex > 8 Pin convertor have 2 connectors? People make a mistake in just using one molex connector instead of both, and it needs both.

Problem solved! Insted of downgrading the driver I actually updated the driver manually, seems that the driver provided in the disc was 320.08 and when I checked for updates it wont find any new one(must be a corrupt installation), so I entered Nvidia site in order to search an older driver and noticed by chance that the most recent driver is 320.18, so I said to myself let's give it a try, after installation everything works fine so far.
I hope it will stay that way but anyway i decided to upgrade my rig sooner then I thought, I'm almost locked on what I want my only dilemma is between the new haswell chips to the "old" ones.
    What say you?
