I feel ashamed to say I have never played an Elder Scrolls game. This may change that. Is it worth getting Morrowind or should I cough up for Skyrim?

Get Morrowind if you're going to play Skyrim, it'll make the Dragonborn DLC 3 x better

It has aged well.

And you must play it before whatever Windows thing that is coming next is gonna make it difficult.

Oblivion is a hollow shell of Morrowind, a vague homage to TES that really doesn't belong, stylistically.

I'm convinced. I will now spend the upcoming weeks no-lifeing TES. I will then report on how much I enjoyed it.
