What version of IE is installed on your computer?

Its IE10 - The default that comes with Windows 8 64-bit. The version is 10.0.9200.16384 - Update versions RTM KB 2718695.
    support.microsoft.com/kb/2718695

The problem on Windows 8 is that you cannot uninstall IE10 unless you use some some kind of registry/low-level OS tweaks I am guessing. I can only disable it from "Programs and Features" which I have already done.

I have another system running Windows 8 and the trainer crashes there too. These two systems are completely unrelated other than that they are running Windows 8 64-bit. There are no other common software (other than Microsoft Windows) installed on these two different systems.

I am in no hurry to get this issue fixed but I just wanted to know if it can be fixed at all and what component causes it to crash. I am guessing its related to the authentication check when the trainer launches?

I have also tried generating an offline key and placing the key in the same folder as the trainer .exe to no avail, it still crashes. Also tried disabling the internet connection when using the authentication key but still it crashes.

    Thanks!

How come all Windows 8 users are having an issue with it then?

    Link

I have already tried all fixes mentioned on the link you posted. No Antivirus is running or firewall is blocking anything on my system. I have 100s of other trainers from this site that are working just fine.

Again I am talking about the Grid 1 trainer version 1.3 which is the latest. Not the new Grid.

Not all users are using win8 one of them is using win7 and the trainer still crashes, like i said it's probably other issue, the trainer works fine from my side.

Can you tell me what version of IE10 is running on your Windows 8 box and also if its 32-bit or 64-bit? Also, did you try running the latest version 1.3 of the trainer I mentioned for Grid 1?

    Thanks!

I actually tested it on my win7 machine runing with ie9, as soon as i'll get back home from work i'll test it on win8 on my vm and will get back to you with the result.
If there is an issue with ie10/win8 i belive it will be fixed as soon as cal has the time like pwiz said.
    thank you for your patience.
